Join me for a 2 hour prenatal yoga & art workshop! Prenatal yoga has an endless amount of benefits and is suitable for expectant mamas in all stages of pregnancy. (Yes, even mamas on bed rest!)
Benefits Include: Practices to prepare your body for birth, tuning into your own intuition and instincts, improving your lymphatic system and increasing your confidence in your ability to nurture yourself through challenge. The tools you will learn will provide you with support through your pregnancy, birth and postpartum journey!
The first part of the workshop will focus on moving mindfully through postures that are safe and nurturing for you and your baby, as well as creating greater awareness of your breath and how you can use it as a powerful tool during your own unique birthing process. You will explore different relaxation poses and techniques, as well as celebrate the strength that is inside of you in your journey.
This workshop will end with a brief discussion on mantra (a word or sound repeated to help bring concentration) with time for you to create a piece of art with your mantra that will support you during the birth process.
Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a blanket with you!
